"Beware Reviews!!"

The Omni holds itself out to be a Premium Hotel close to the Miracle Mile. In truth its future is ‘behind it’ and if it was a sports team it would have been relegated to lower division. It is tired and furthermore in need of a desperate clean. The clue is in the odour that greets when you enter the property!! I have always suspected how ratings systems are manipulated by businesses and this is proof positive!!

The hotel is nice, but it is two block from a major hospital so you hear ambulances a lot. You do get used to it after a day or so. Rooms are clean and remodeled, but small. The tub is pretty small too. Nice products though. The best service at this hotel is the bellman and luggage attendants at the entrance.

I can’t even begin on how clean and nice these rooms were. The hotel is in a great spot that is within walking distance of almost everything, including the Navy Pier. We stayed here with our 6 year old and 4 month old. When we parked our vehicle, we didn’t even get back in it until we pulled out. This was a great and memorable Chicago experience for our family!

Great hotel right on the magnificent mile. Check in desk is on 3rd floor like many Chicago hotels which is less than desirable but hotel makes up for it. Clean spacious rooms. Smallish pool and gym. Great location and staff.

"Worst Hotel Stay Ever"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed June 18, 2018 NEW
We originally decided to book this hotel as a good place for our family to get together for the week since they have a pool (among the three families we have 4 kids to occupy) and a great location. We arrive to find that the pool is being "serviced" for the entire week. No email, no phone call and no discount offered but we can walk two blocks to the Peninsula Hotel (where we should have booked a room to begin with) and use their pool. The shower barely works, the rooms are so tiny and cramped that we are on top of each other and miserable. The outlets are jammed so close to the bed that it's virtually impossible to plug anything in and the desk chair is so low that the desk is basically unusable to actually do any work. All and all, this may be the worst hotel experience we've ever had in Chicago. Unfortunately, we are here for another 6 days and no other hotel has rooms so we're stuck. The front desk has promised to send an engineer up to fix the shower tomorrow which is good. We'll see if there's any reason for me to revise this review. I'm not terribly hopeful.
