I just returned from our visit to the Omni Hotel. My daughter and I stayed there for spring break getaway. We also went to the American girl store. The service at the Omni was phenomenal. The room was clean and well furnished and was a great location in downtown Chicago.we ordered room service and it was excellent we also used the services of a concierge. Definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying downtown.

The mark of great hotel is how you are treated when something goes wrong. We recently booked 2 connecting rooms for myself,my wife and our 2 children, one of which is autistic. We always book reservations through the hotel directly to ensure the room arrangements due to our sons disability. When we arrived, one of the 2 rooms were ready, but the second room was occupied and wouldn't be ready until nearly 5 pm. Anyone familiar with an autistic child knows how much a change can cause great anxiety. The manager on duty stepped in and arranged an upgrade to the governors suite with a connecting room. What could have been a disaster for us as parents to manage became a great 2 day vacation. This was not the fist time the staff at the Omni went above bored to make our stay pleasant . We have stayed at many hotels in Chicago but always gravitate back to the Omni. I'm so glad we chose to stay at the Omni on this family vacation. My thanks to the manager and all the staff! We will see you all again

Location couldn't be better, right in the middle of Michigan ave shopping. Plenty of restaurants within 5min walking distance. Friendly staff throughout. If you sign up for their membership, you get free-wifi. No complaints at all.

I tend to visit Chicago once a year for the Housewares Show and for several years now, we are not even thinking where to stay - Omni is our favorite - it just gives a vibe of being at home. I also know they have special programmes for families with kids, but I have not had the chance to try them myself. Situated in the heart of Magnificent mile it is perfect starting point for shopping. Some of the best restaurants are within walking distance, so are the Walgreens and Whole Foods. Rooms are spacious (every room is a suite) and well kept. I also have a feeling that after the renovation they are a bit brighter. Beds are very comfortable - a bit on a soft side, but with the right amount of support (extremely important when you're walking several miles a day...). Rooms are also very well kept and everyone working there is very helpful and nice. The check in (can be done online) and check out are the fastest I have ever experienced and they do offer special offers and deals to their club members (free wi-fi, late check out..). The restaurant (676) offers great view on Magnificent mile (situated just opposite Apple store, it's a great location to people watch when Apple has a new release :-) ) . The only downside (and something they can not do anything about) is, that it's reception is in the 3rd floor and you need to change the elevators to get to the room, so count that in if you're in a hurry. Occassionally there are rescue vehicles with sirens going pass it during the night which can wake you up, so ask for a room in higher floors. But overall a hotel that I always look forward to return to.

"The best hotel in Chicago!"

The people at this hotel could not have been more friendly. Every corner I turned they were asking me how my stay was and even went out of their way to put a souvenir in my room so that I would not forget my first Blackhawk's game. I can not say enough about how special everyone made me feel during my stay at the Omni Chicago! Keep up the great work! I have already told all of my friends to stay there.
