Rude staff, huge problems with safety and security. Very busy. Reservations not what they were supposed to be. Security was really the biggest issue. Somehow we wound up with a stranger in our room. No idea or explanation of how he got in there. Horrible experience.

The location of the hotel is good. It is right in the heart of the mile. The hotel itself is well so so. Rooms were nothing special- they were clean so that made us happy. Bar downstairs was fun. Not a fancy hotel but gives you want you need

"Great idea but getting dusty, need to renovate !"

Ideally placed in town. Great service overall but this hotel is clearly suffering from lack of renovation that for the price per night is a bit difficult to digest... If you like music loud, you'll be served especially at the front desk as you can even not hear what the personal is telling you.... :-)

Great location is the only positive worthy of mentioning. Tired rooms in need of an update. Definitely over priced for what you receive. With all the hotels in this area don't make the mistake of booking this one.

We were initially given a room with two queen beds on the 21st floor. Room looked nothing like the pictures on the website and looked like it needed a major refresh. Upon inspection (first 10 minutes), we found not one, not two, but three socks throughout the room! Gross. We called front desk and were brought keys for a suite on the 19th floor. Ramona was surprised (mortified?) by the socks too. She wanted us out of that room because that's just unacceptable! We were comped breakfast to help atone. No big deal for the breakfast at Chuck's: we wouldn't have chosen it. If I'm paying for overpriced breakfast, might as well line up at the nearby Cafe Nutella. New room is much bigger but has a needless hallway between the entrance and living area. Room is dimly lit. Beds are older (I see staining from the sheet having come off the bed). Shower only which causes splashing of water outside the shower due to the short shower curtain. Tiny counter space next to the sink. Good location, but you're better off spending your money elsewhere. Lots of choices within a few block radius. The service we received from front desk was fine but when you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig. Sirens going off regularly and loud traffic. Wi-Fi is intermittent. This is a converted hotel and it shows. Peekaboo views of Lake Michigan. I see you between two buildings!
