Chicago Crime Tours is interesting and entertaining with a great mix of on the bus touring and off the bus experiences. Our guide, Mitch, was fantastic.

I thought this was a great and interesting tour. I actually live in Chicago, but a friend and I decided to take the tour "just because." The tour started and ended on time. Ben, our tour guide was AWESOME! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining! For me personally it was great because I got to learn a little more history about the city I live in and love. I'd def recommend this tour for both locals and visitors. The pick up apot was very easy to get to. The stops and the history of each location was very interesting. Overall, my friend and I had an awesome time.

"Touring in a bus, hearing speakers 'talk' about the past, and all crime scenes modernized"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

We chose this tour because it was recommended and our daughter' last day in Chicago - because she graduated. A nice comfortable bus touring the streets of Chicago.. The two speakers were pleasant, clear and knowledgeable. However, because of I guess my ignorance, the identified crime scenes - showed nothing of the past as all places have been modernized... We stopped 'three' times with little to no value at each stop. In our experience, it was difficult to justify the $40 X 2 we spent.

$40.00 to sit in an air conditioned bus for an hour and a half looking at nothing and hearing questionable history. The whole thing was absurd. Since moving to chicago, I have really been looking forward to this tour. IT.....WAS.....AWFUL! We didn't see anything, anything at all. We made 3 stops. The Dillinger death alley (Google it and go yourself), River North to look at a couple of high rises, and Harry Carey's Steakhouse. Seriously...Harry Carey's Steakhouse. For FORTY $$. If you're a 19th and 20th century history buff like I am, just google the places and walk, drive, or take the CTA there. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.
