"I enjoyed it; however, think food at Harry Carrey's would have been an asset to the tour."

Ben did a great job. We have two guests, one of which was handicapped late due to parking and walking to the tour and Ben was kind enough to wait that few minutes so that they could join us. I think food at Harry Carrey's would be a nice benefit to the tour.

"A bit disappointing"

The tour is self was nice but what was truly missing was the H.H. Holmes that they advertise in there homepage. For us that was the reason why we joined the tour. There was a short mention of HH.Holmes and then the main focus of the tour was John Dillinger and Al Capone and we stayed mostly inside the bus the whole time where they showed us video clips. I would give this tour a 2 stars out of 5. I thought to my self while on this tour.. "I would get more out of watching a good documentary on youtube about crimes in Chicago". I wouldnt call it a waste of money but both me and my wife were disappointed and I can not recommend this tour.

The guy who took us on the tour was very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. He brought a lot of enthusiasm and answered any questions myself or others had on the tour. I would make the tour another hour long and maybe include food.

"Fascinating tour though mostly from inside the bus"

This is a VERY customer-oriented company, from the service on the phone in booking to our travel guide. Friendly, professional, made you feel welcome. Sheila, the guide, was knowledgable about the area and the time periods studied, and she gave some great trivia. Despite most of the passengers bewing so stone-faced, she made it work. The only issue I had: much of the tour is by bus, meaning you rarely get out and you drive past some places rather quickly. This tour could last for days - so much to see and hear. But I would have enjoyed at least stopping for 5 minutes at more than 2 spots. The section on John Dillinger was a delight for crime buffs: information, a walk-thru of his last minutes, and the way it was described put you there. I am a true crime author and the info given was true, not like some tours whose facts are not always "facts." Thanks, Chicago Crime Tours, for a fun and interesting tour! Sheila was awesome.
