Tour was prompt, the bus was clean and comfortable, the driver was safe and courteous. The guide, Sheila, was was fun and engaging - some of the jokes were not a hit but she rolled with it and interjected her own flavor to the stories. Our 15 and 20 yr old sons typically don't like anything we might suggest for entertainment but both really liked this tour. Most importantly, the company was great to work with from ordering, scheduling and then when we needed an accommodation for part of our group in scheduling, they were pleasant and helpful. This tour was a great way to see the city, hear some history you wouldn't normally hear, and spend time out of the cold!

The Chicago Crime Tour was a thoroughly entertaining way to savor the Windy City's colorful history. Our tour guide, Mitch, made the experience incomparably splendid. His infectious energy, ready wit, and charming edge engaged virtually everyone on our tour bus. That every member of our generationally layered family fell in love with him is a testament to how brilliant he is in his role as the Godfather of all tour guides.... Go and enjoy!

I don't even know how anyone could possibly be disappointed with this tour --- you're on a heated bus, for goodness sake! What a luxury! We were able to cover so much ground & so many amazing spots related to numerous aspects of Chicago crime history. I kept saying to my friends that I wished the tour were twice as long. It was about 7 degrees outside when we took the tour today but any of the stops where we hopped off and looked around were so exciting, the cold didn't matter. Our guide, Mitch, was just as best as they come. I'm a tour guide in the Boston area and I'm sure I sometimes have an involuntary tendency to be nitpicky because of that, but I have no bad words to say about Mitch whatsoever. He was exactly the kind of guide with the right attitude needed for this subject material. And he was hilarious. Also, just a note to the previous review about HH Holmes - the site of the 'Murder Castle' is a) really far, b) not a safe area, and c) not there anymore. I think you'd have been more disappointed to have the bus go all the way out there only to see next to nothing. The company doesn't seem to promise visiting any HH Holmes site so it isn't fair to lower their rating because of reasons completely out of their control when the rest of the sites they visit and the accompanying material is so great.

We came on December 15th, and in frigid temperatures. Our tour guide Mitch was absolutely terrific. He had awesome energy and really cared about the people on the group. I sincerely appreciated the tour, and his sense of humor.
