"Guide was great but"

The bus was comfortable and cool and the guide was really enthusiastic and knowledgable. However we felt the tour was really overpriced for what it was. It was 90 minute, whistle stop tour and didn't include Al Capones burial site. There are better value for money tours in Chicago. One of the main highlights-Harry Carey's bar can be visited separately for just the foot of a drink. You couldn't knock the guide or driver, it is just not worth the $40 pp price tag

"You wont see much on this tour. High prices bus ride around the streets of Chicago."

You listen to a guide talking the entire time, telling stories, and standing up blocking the view out of the bus main front window. For the few places that this tour visits compared to the cost, you can easily do yourself. Example, the tour brochure hypes that you will see the vaults and passageways used by the gangsters-instead just walk into Harry Carry restaurant(the original) in downtown and walk down the steps to the right of the main entrance and there is the vault and the tiny window you can see the passageways through, for free.

"Very interesting"

Mitch was a good guide who bonded well with his audience. Hie showed good knowledge of his subject and made it more interesting through his audience interaction. While many of the buildings have been demolished, they can hardly be blamed for that. I would prefer his honesty to feeding us rubbish. I had assumed that the tour would cover 1930's events only, but they also covered more recent events, which was interesting.

Ben, our guide, was very personable and knowledgeable. Most of his storylines came from the basement of Harry Carry's bar ( take the tour to find out). Nice afternoon to spend with my wife, my son and his gal. Would be nice to get to stop a couple more places.
